La Higuera represents Prolog's first look into Peruvian coffee. A mixed lot of Bourbon and Caturra, carefully produced by Segundo Mondragon on just 1 hectare of arable land, located in Colossay in the north of Peru and at altitudes of above 1800 masl.

La Higuera has been processed in the traditional washed process, where the ripe cherries are pulped & fermented before being washed and rinsed, and then dried in a parabolic dryer.

In the cup are notes of pear & plum with a hint of black pepper, and a rich creamy mouthfeel.
